My Conscious Does Not Allow Me to Vote for Kamala Harris

Being raised as a 90s kid, I saw the horrors that humans can commit to one another in real time. The fall of the Berlin wall, the Rwarden genocide, the Ethiopian famine, images of the Jewish Holocaust, the wars of the Middle East and so on. The images and videos seen as it was happening were enough to bring on songs like We Are the World and what made Michael Jackson symbls of peace and goodwill towards other. But now as I sit here with the spotlight on the United States, the litmus test to see if we put our money where are mouths are, we are failing that test. Now we can see how easy it was for the Third Reich to gas human beings and for Hutus to massacre their Tutsi brothers and sisters. All that has to be done is an excuse to be made, and the human imagination will make up all the rest to validate it. And then the government and media machine joins in playing both sides with the govenment disingenously keeping silent and the media putting on the pedastal the group they want to support, while demonizing the . And the white American public is so enamored by optics, take the side of whatever group “looks the best” and shesd the most rich, white-passing tears. The whole situation makes me nauceous.
