A child was fatally stabbed today at a subway station I take regularly. The news isn’t reporting that it happened in the subway. https://bronx.news12.com/police-14-year-old-fatally-stabbed-in-the-bronx

That’s bad publicity for the MTA, Gov. Hochul and Mayor Adams because they’re already taking heat for trying to force people to take the subway with congestion pricing after the lady being burned alive on the train and multiple other subway stabbings in the last couple weeks.

I’m genuinely worried because school starts again in 2 weeks, and I wasn’t able to get any online classes this semester. More people on the subway means more confrontations.

Today was really nice out in the Bronx. It was officially cool (lower 60s), but there wasn’t a cloud in the sky. I had only went to Checkers to grab a burger and felt like staying out, but everyone must’ve had the same idea, because the Hub was crowded. Actually saw a couple people even wearing bubble coats, but it was cool enough for a light jacket or hoodie. This summer stayed in the 90s with matching humidity, so I didn’t get a chance to enjoy it at all. I was over it, but it’s supposed to drop into the 40s tonight and I’m all ready for it.
