Great. I think my video card just died. Everytime I’m doing anything that has to do with video, playing a game, movies, movie editor etc I get the bsod. I’ve updated video drivers, formatted and reloaded windows, memory tested, I even only had Windows running with no other software. Still bsod. Ill try cracking open the case and reseating everything 🙁 My last ditch move will be updating the BIOS.
Id really hate having to buy yet another video card. It seems I always end up buying another every 2-3 years and this ones time is just about up. Its a Nvidia GeForce 8600 GT. When I bought it was a new midgrade model but now its ancient.
I do have a spare video card but that would be kicking me back in time another 2 years because its wayyyyy older. An Nvidia GeForce 7650. I don’t think I even have a slot for it tho because I have a PCIex on the mobo and I am not sure what the 7650 is. 🙁
