New York ComicCon 2024

This was my first time at a ComicCon and I enjoyed all of it. It was held at the Javits Center in New York City and it was my first time going there too. I went with my boyfriend and his daughter and although we all have different tastes in I guess you can call it “cartoonery”, there was something for all of us. My boyfriend is into Funko Pops, so he left with more than a dozen of them. His daughter likes anime, so she left with a sword (fake of course) and some other anime stuff. And I left with some nostalgic items like a huge Sonic the Hedgehog, Knuckles, and Tails fan, a Silent Hill Pyramid Head and Zombie Nurse figurine scene, a World of Warcraft Tarot card deck and a Secret of NIMH print drawn by the illustrator at the booth. We all had a good time and I will definitely be back next year.
