I live in New York City and my building just shook for like 15 seconds. Terrifying. It was more of a rolling quake that kept getting stronger and stronger … until it stopped. I was wondering when it was going to stop. Once I realize what was happening, I ran into my building’s hallway where the structure was stronger until it stopped. News reported it as a 4.8.
This is one of the reasons why I was happy to leave the west coast. I don’t need this kind of stress in my life.
